Short History of LP Kalong Wat Khao Laem
Luang Pu Kalong Techawanno (BE 2461–2552) was a famous Thai monk of Wat Khao Laem, Sa Kaeo province. He was ordained at Wat Pradoochimplee under LP Toh, one of the greatest monks of the era, and studied powerful wicha (sacred knowledge). LP Kalong was well known for his mystical aura, as he was born with a rare “Kieow Kaew” (sacred crystal tooth on the upper palate), believed to grant supernatural power and protection.
His amulets and talismans, such as Phra Narai, Garuda, Phra Pidta, and Khun Paen, are highly respected for metta maha niyom (charm and popularity), protection, wealth, and great fortune. LP Kalong passed away peacefully in BE 2552 at the age of 91, leaving behind many legendary amulets still cherished today.
