Thai Amulet Phra Phong "Phuttha Son" (Buddha Overlay) / "Noon Duang" Destiny Support Amulet by Luang Pho Chamnan Wat Bangkuthi Thong BE 2557

Description

This authentic Phra Phong Phuttha Son, also known as the "Noon Duang" Destiny Support Amulet, was personally supervised by Luang Pho Chamnan of Wat Bangkuthi Thong throughout every stage of production. Created in B.E. 2557 (2014), this is considered one of his early and highly respected sacred powder amulets.

The amulet measures approximately 6 × 4.5 cm and was produced using an exceptional blend of sacred ingredients, including numerous ancient temple powders collected from old Buddhist reliquaries throughout Thailand. It also contains the Five Sacred Powders (Benja Phutthakhun) handwritten and ritually erased by Luang Pho Chamnan himself:

  • Pathamang Powder
  • Maharaj Powder
  • Trinisinghe Powder
  • Itthije Powder
  • Phutthakhun Powder

Additional rare and sacred substances were incorporated to enhance the amulet's spiritual potency.

A Tribute to the Master's Teacher

This special edition was created as an expression of gratitude and reverence by Luang Pho Chamnan toward his revered teacher:

Luang Pu Surin Revato (Phra Khru Pathum Thammanusit), the former abbot of Wat Bangkuthi Thong.

The front of the amulet uniquely depicts Luang Pho Chamnan seated in front, with Luang Pu Surin seated behind him, symbolizing the eternal connection between teacher and disciple.

This rare artistic design reminds devotees that every accomplishment is built upon the guidance of one's teachers. It reflects the Buddhist teaching that respect for one's teachers brings lasting blessings, wisdom, and protection.

Symbolism of the Eight Lotus Flowers

On each side of the amulet are four lotus flowers, making a total of eight.

The Eight Worldly Conditions (Lokadhamma 8)

The eight lotus flowers remind practitioners of the Buddha's teaching on the changing nature of life:

  • Gain
  • Loss
  • Status
  • Disgrace
  • Praise
  • Criticism
  • Happiness
  • Suffering

These teachings encourage mindfulness, equanimity, and inner peace regardless of life's changing circumstances.

The Noble Eightfold Path

The same eight lotus flowers also represent the Noble Eightfold Path, the Buddha's path toward enlightenment:

  • Right View
  • Right Intention
  • Right Speech
  • Right Action
  • Right Livelihood
  • Right Effort
  • Right Mindfulness
  • Right Concentration

Thus, the amulet serves not only as a sacred object of blessing but also as a constant reminder to practice the Dharma in daily life.

Believed Spiritual Benefits

According to the tradition of Luang Pho Chamnan and the experiences shared by many devotees, this amulet is believed to help:

  • Support and strengthen one's destiny (Noon Duang)
  • Enhance career advancement and professional success
  • Increase opportunities and steady life progress
  • Attract respect, kindness, and popularity (Metta Mahaniyom)
  • Improve relationships with colleagues, employers, and clients
  • Strengthen personal fortune and life stability
  • Protect against misfortune, accidents, and negative influences
  • Invite the blessings and protection of one's spiritual teachers
  • Encourage wisdom, mindfulness, humility, and gratitude
  • Serve as a reminder to remain balanced amid life's successes and challenges

Many devotees describe this amulet as especially effective for those seeking career growth, business success, and long-term stability while remaining spiritually grounded.
