Short Biography of Luang Por Prasoot (Wat Tham Phra Phutthakosii, Trang)
Wat Tham Phra Phutthakosii, also known as Wat Nai Tao, is located in Huai Yot District, Trang Province. It is a sacred temple long respected for holy amulets and mystical practices. Its current abbot, Luang Por Prasoot Piyathammo, is a highly regarded master who inherited the spiritual lineage and magical knowledge from Phor Than Saeng, the former abbot.

Birth & Early Life:
Luang Por Prasoot was born on October 19, 1965, in Huai Yot, Trang. He was the only child in a farming family. From a young age, he stayed at Wat Nai Tao under Phor Than Saeng, where he studied Dhamma and sacred knowledge.

Ordination & Studies:
At 20 years old, in 1986 (BE 2529), he ordained as a monk at Wat Huai Yot. He studied Buddhist scriptures and achieved the highest level of Nak Tham Ek. Afterward, he went on Tudong (forest wandering), traveling across Thailand to study under many great masters, such as:

Expertise:
Luang Por Prasoot is widely known for his Hoon Payon (spiritual effigy) creations, beginning with the first rare batch made from sacred Takrut. Later, he developed powerful versions such as Hoon Payon Mongkol Kao, Mom Kwak, Manora masks, Sleeping Tiger, Seven Maidens, sacred Takrut scrolls, yantra cloths, and even mystical cosmological talismans. These are famed for protection, wealth, charm, and fortune.

Wat Nai Tao & Sacred Power:
The temple itself dates back to BE 2203 (1660 CE), housing three important Buddha statues: Phra Phutthakosii, Phra Thammaruchi, and Phra Sri Kraisorn, believed to be from the Srivijaya era. The temple is also known for sacred Lek Lai (mystical ore) found inside its caves. Luang Por Prasoot later officially extracted and preserved 400 kg of Lek Lai, embedding it beneath the principal Buddha image to protect it from theft. Some of this sacred ore was also used to create his powerful amulets.
